Sister Act

To call the Cyriacs a tight-knit family might be a bit of an understatement. When student-pharmacist Cinita Cyriac graduates in May, she will have a unique privilege that not many graduate students get. Doctoral degrees are distinguished by their colorful hoods that denote the area of study. Presenting this hood to the graduating doctor is often thought of as a high honor. In Cinita’s case, she bestowed that honor to her sister, Benita.

Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine professor Dr. Natalie Nevins has been honored by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP) with its Outstanding Female Leader Award. Since 2012, ACOFP has honored female physicians who serve as role models, teachers, leaders and sources of inspiration for men and women alike.

Touro Offers Doctoral Program For Educators

The Doctor is in for TUC Graduate School of Education! At Touro University California, the answer is now a resounding yes. TUC’s Graduate School of Education recently announced it will begin offering a unique Doctoral-level degree beginning this summer.  The new Ed.D. is being introduced as Leading Innovative Diverse Organizations or LIDO and the title encompasses the overall mission of the program.

MPH Student Earns CAL-EIS Fellowship

Touro Public Health Program’s Catalina Reinhart (’22) has been awarded the California Department of Public Health’s Epidemiological Investigative Service (Cal-EIS) Fellowship.
