Biography

I am a retired USAFR Colonel. I served 30 years both active duty and reserve and held several positions during this time, among which were Chief Nurse and Squadron Commander. I completed my military career as an Individual Mobilization Augmentee to the Chief Nurse at David Grant Medical Center, Travis AFB. I an also a retired school nurse and a retired Solano County Public Health Nurse Manager. Among the other specialties in which I have worked are medical surgical units, neonatal intensive care, obstetrics and pediatrics. I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Nursing from California State University, Sacramento and have been with the school of nursing since 2017. I enjoy working with fellow faculty and, especially, the students.
