Mare Island Fall Festival

Businesses from Mare Island will be teaming up to bring Vallejo its first Mare Island Fall Festival this Saturday in various locations on the Island.
The collaborative effort will include activities from Touro University, Mare Island Golf Club, Mare Island Historical Park Foundation Artifacts Museum, Mare Island Shoreline Heritage Preserve and more. To see a full list of activities and times, click here.
The golf tournament will kick-off the event at 8:30 a.m., followed closely by Touro University's
7th Annual Mare Island 5K Run/Walk (to benefit the Global Center for Success and the Greater Vallejo Recreation District) at 9:00 a.m. The Global Center for Success will have an open house later followed by a Naval Cemetery Tour. The festival will end with a Lost Boats of Mare Island Memorial at 1:30 p.m.
For those who wish to sign up for the golf tournament, please call Mark at (707) 562-4653 x5. The tournament will be a two-person scramble open to anyone and there is no limit to the number of golfers. Proceeds of the event will go back into the Mare Island Fall Festival fund. A portion of the proceeds will be awarded to the tournament winner.
The Touro 5K Walk/Run registration fee is $35 for adults, $15 for students and $70 for a family of three, while children under seven are free. Participants will receive a T-shirt with registration. The run will commence at the lower main Touro parking lot at 1310 Club Drive.
