MPH Students Appear on Global Health Radio Show
The research of Public Health Program Global Health Track Chair, Dr. Carinne Brody and her two student research assistants, Keely Molina Johnson and Ruby Warnock were featured on the Africa Views Radio Program hosted by Dr. Padmini Murthy of New York Medical College on Thursday, March 21 at 9:15 a.m.
The title of their funded research project is "What are the effects of women’s economic self-help group programs on women’s empowerment? A Systematic Review on Women's Health and Empowerment." The findings of the study have been accepted for presentation at the 2013 Campbell Colloquium of The Campbell Collaboration at Loyal University Chicago to be held from May 21-23, 2013.
