Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine-California (TUCOM-CA) recently hosted a summer internship program aimed at providing students from local high schools a first-hand look at osteopathic medicine and osteopathic medical education. The program included four intensive sessions led by TUCOM-CA volunteer professors. Students participated in lessons covering osteopathic manual manipulation (OMM), preventive medicine, and neuroscience. The program concluded with an overview of global health and a discussion on how osteopathic physicians can impact the health and wellness of communities around the world.
