Vallejo Universities Applaud Graduates

The California Maritime Academy celebrated its 81st annual commencement ceremony on April 28th, graduating 174 cadets from six different majors. CMA cadets earned degrees in Global Studies and Maritime Affairs, Business Administration, Facilities Engineering Technology, Marine Technology, Marine Transportation and Mechanical Engineering. A number of cadets earned dual degrees from two separate majors.  Cal Maritime is renowned for the success of its success placing graduates in challenging jobs.  Examples of employers of this year's graduates include the Department of Defense, Chevron Shipping Company and ABF Carries.

Touro University California will graduate 317 students from three colleges next month.  Touro has consistently grown its student body and diversified its curriculum since opening its Mare Island campus in Vallejo more than 10 years ago. Next month the university will graduate 130 Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine students, 92 Doctor of Pharmacy students and 95 graduates with a Master of Fine Arts in Education and Health Science degree.  Graduation ceremonies will be held at the Masonic Auditorium in San Francisco on June 3 at 2:00 p.m.
