Secrets of Success: Touro University hits 20-year higher-education milestone in Solano

Decades ago, a high school diploma – and possibly honorable military service – was enough to land a good-paying job to support a family.

College degrees eventually began to replace the high school diploma as the standard for a basic educational foundation, with a six-fold increase among men and eight-fold increase among women enrolling in college from the 1940s until the 1990s, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

In many industries these days, continuing professional education is a must. This area of academia is a particular specialty for Touro University, which specializes in graduate programs.
