The Touro University California (TU-CA) Library Room Reservation Policy applies to faculty, staff, and students.

  • Reservations for Library study rooms may be made by writing your name in the desired time slot in the Study Room Reservations Binder located at the circulation desk.
  • Reservations for the Library computer labs may be made by contacting the Student Services Office at (707) 638-5935.
  • The AV/Conference Room must be reserved through the EMS system. The two hour reservation limit and food policy apply to this room.
  • Please direct any questions or exceptions to the Library room reservation policy to the Library Director at (707) 638-5314. Remember, Library staff does not reserve the Library computer labs.
  • During exam blocks, room reservations may only be made by students.
  • Each room may be reserved for a two-hour time period. Different individuals from the same group may not reserve rooms under different names thus having use of a room for longer than two hours. If there are no reservations for a room, the room may reserved for an additional two hours. These reservations must be made at the circulation desk.
  • The Library staff cannot watch or be responsible for items left unattended in any room in the Library.
  • Windows of study rooms may not be covered.
  • The conference room in the back of the Library holds about 12 people. It is not a particularly pleasant room, so it may be best not to reserve for outside visitors.
  • There are two study rooms in the front of the Library and 10 study rooms in the back of the Library. These rooms are primarily for student use, but on occasion may be used for other purposes. Each room comfortably holds about four people.
  • There is an OMM Room in the back of the Library that has an OMM table and may be reserved only for OMM or physical diagnosis purposes.
  • Library food policy applies to all rooms in the Library.
