Basic Science Foundations
This course is an integrated organ systems approach to presenting normal human physiology, biochemistry, and histology. Knowledge of "normal" human organ systems function is a necessary prerequisite for the practice of preventative medicine. This knowledge also provides a foundation for skills you will develop in detection, diagnosis, and treatment of systems exhibiting abnormalities or pathologies.
