The goal of the Master's of Education Generalist Program is to prepare students who wish to work with special education students in grades K-12. Touro's Special Education Program is dedicated to serving the needs of students who have mental, emotional, autistic and learning disorders, especially in under-served segments of that population. Participants in the program benefit from high quality coursework, competent instructors, ongoing staff development, and collaborations with nationally and internationally known experts in the academic arena.
