The Touro University California Public Health Program offers an MPH degree through an integrated curriculum that is both theory and practice based. The Program is grounded in interdisciplinary synergies focused on training well-rounded public health professionals responsive to the health needs of our community as well as the global community. Students are prepared for a variety of careers in research, policy, administration, and program planning in government and non-government health agencies and educational institutions. Students receive comprehensive training in the core areas of public health: epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental health, behavioral aspects of public health, and health administration services. In all classes, whether required or elected, the emphasis is on the relevancy of information and skills to public health practice in local or global community settings.
