Welcome to the Office of Admissions website for the Touro University Nevada School of Physical Therapy. The Doctor of Physical Therapy is offered in a residential format for individuals wanting to become a physical therapist and in an on-line format for practicing physical therapists.

Application deadlines
Beginning with admissions for July 2010, Touro University Nevada will only accept applications submitted through the Physical Therapy Centralized Admissions Process (PTCAS)at www.ptcas.org. A TUN Supplemental Application is also requred. When an application is completed, the applicant is considered for admission on a rolling basis. Applications received at or near the deadline may not be able to be offered a place in the desired class. Potential students are encouraged to apply early.

Application Status Checks
Candidates should check on the status of their application for admission by email request to physical.therapy@tun.touro.edu. It normally takes no more than one workday to receive a response from the Admissions Office for application status check information. When requesting a status check by email,please provide the last four digits of your social security number and the program for which you are inquiring (TUSOPT) with your request for information.
Telephone requests for status cannot be completed due to privacy protection policies. TUN is bound by privacy laws to release information only to the actual candidate. Friends and family are discouraged from attempting to obtain information, even if such information is being requested with the full knowledge of the candidate.

Campus Tours
Tours of the campus for applicants to the School of Physical Therapy are typically given every Monday and Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, beginning in late September until May. To confirm that a tour is being conducted and by whom on any day or to obtain additional information, contact the Office of Admissions at (702) 777-1750.

Please insure that all areas of the application are complete (including signatures) prior to submission. Incomplete/unsigned applications will not be processed.
