Three cheers to the talented faculty of Touro University California, whose excellence and dedication deserve to be recognized and celebrated. These accolades not only serve as a testament to the unwavering commitment of individuals who shape the future but also inspire a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

If you have never heard of a digital badge or micro-credential, it’s a form of accreditation that Touro University California (TUC) uses for situations where a full degree may not be necessary, but some formal training in the area is useful. 

As we approach the cooler days of fall and winter, it’s also time to prepare for respiratory illness season. The spread of COVID-19, flu, and RSV are diseases that can be reduced to ensure the health and safety of all members of the community.

Dr. Catherine Cone, Associate Dean of Assessment, College of Pharmacy, and Dr. Nathalie Bergeron, Associate Dean of Research, College of Osteopathic Medicine, were awarded a 5-year HRSA grant for their project titled Engaging Students from Underserved North Bay Counties for Success in Health Professions Careers – Touro University California’s (TUC) HCOP Academy!

When Dr. Chitra Pai received the message that she had won the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award, as honored as she was, she wondered what exactly she had done to win. In reflecting, rather than a long list of accomplishments, what she found was gratitude.

Sutthida Torr joined Touro University California's College of Pharmacy in September 2022 as Coordinator of Assessment. She, with the Associate Dean of Assessment, collects data on university and national surveys.

Dr. Leslie Wu, PharmD, is a graduate of Touro University California's College of Pharmacy Class of 2021.

Dr. Terri Wong, PharmD, is an associate professor in the department of Clinical and Social Pharmaceutical Sciences at Touro University California's College of Pharmacy and coordinator of the Patient Care Skills Lab.
